Intelligent Sensing, Precise Deployment - Unlock Three Installation Secrets

Release time:2024-09-18

In the wave of digital transformation and upgrading, intelligent sensors have become the bridge connecting the physical and digital worlds. From cement building materials to petrochemicals, from automobile manufacturing to coal mines, they work silently on various key equipment, improving work efficiency and reducing costs and increasing efficiency everywhere.

However, to maximize the effectiveness of these small but powerful devices, correct installation and deployment are crucial. Sensor installation methods generally use drilling and double-headed bolt installation. For equipment that is not suitable for drilling, magnetic suction bases or adhesive T-shaped bolt installation are used.

Drilling and double-headed bolt installation

Stable choice, professional style

For scenarios that pursue ultimate stability and long-term use, drilling and double-headed bolt installation is undoubtedly the preferred solution. Although this installation method is slightly cumbersome, it can ensure an unbreakable connection between the sensor and the mounting surface, effectively resisting vibration, impact, and other external factors, and ensuring the continuous and stable acquisition of data.

1

Detailed steps :

  1. Layout planning : According to the actual needs and on-site environment, accurately plan the installation location of the sensor to ensure that the monitoring range is comprehensive and reasonable.
  2. Drilling and positioning : Use professional tools to drill holes at the selected location. Select a 5mm diameter drill bit and a drilling depth of 10mm. After drilling, clean the surface and the burrs in the hole. At the same time, avoid damaging surrounding structures or circuits.
  3. Bolt installation : Pass the double-headed bolt through the reserved hole of the sensor, fix one end in the drilled hole, and tighten the other end with a nut to ensure that the sensor is firmly fixed and does not shake.

Magnetic suction base installation

Flexible and convenient, ready to use

For occasions where frequent position changes or drilling is inconvenient, magnetic suction base installation demonstrates its unique advantages. This installation method does not require damaging the mounting surface. Simply stick it lightly to achieve quick deployment and removal of the sensor, greatly improving work efficiency and flexibility.

Operating instructions :

  1. Surface cleaning : Use an angle grinder to grind the paint of the measured point smoothly and then change it to a cross-shaped knife to ensure that the mounting surface is clean, free of oil stains or impurities, to ensure the best magnetic suction effect.
  2. Install the magnetic suction base : Because the magnetic base has a large suction force, the impact of metal-to-metal collision during adsorption may cause sensor overload and damage. Therefore, when installing, the magnetic base should first contact the mounting surface at a certain angle, and then slowly put it down. To further improve the stability and reliability of the sensor, a special magnetic suction bolt base can be fixed to the measured point with casting glue.

Adhesive T-shaped bolt installation

Balanced choice, stable and beautiful

For scenarios that require both a certain degree of stability and aesthetics, adhesive T-shaped bolt installation provides an ideal solution. It combines the strong adhesion of the adhesive and the mechanical strength of the T-shaped bolt, which can achieve stable installation without damaging the equipment shell, and maintain the neat and harmonious appearance.

3

Implementation steps :

  1. Surface treatment : Treat the mounting surface appropriately. Use an angle grinder to grind the position where the T-shaped bolt needs to be placed on the equipment, grind off the paint on the surface, and clean the oil and debris on the surface. At the same time, ensure that the surface where the T-shaped bolt is placed is flat.
  2. Apply adhesive : Mix the double-bond chemical DB8118 casting glue evenly and apply it to the bottom of the T-shaped bolt. Pay attention to controlling the amount to avoid overflow.
  3. Install the T-shaped bolt : Align the T-shaped bolt with the adhesive applied to the installation position (or weld the T-shaped bolt directly to the equipment with a welding machine), press firmly for a few seconds to ensure that the adhesive is fully contacted and solidified. Welding is preferred in on-site implementation.
  4. Beautifying treatment: If necessary, the surrounding area can be beautified after installation, such as filling gaps, spraying coatings, etc., to achieve better visual effects.

Whether it is the stable choice of drilling and double-headed bolts, the flexible and convenient magnetic suction base, or the balanced approach of adhesive T-shaped bolts, each installation method has its unique applicable scenarios and advantages. In the installation and deployment of intelligent sensors, we should flexibly choose according to actual needs and on-site conditions to ensure that the sensors can operate stably and efficiently, bringing more convenience and surprises to our work!
